Digital Sports Mgmt has worked with a host of clubs during the inaugural ePremier League tournament, which was the first time an official FIFA Esports competition was run by the league.
DSM provide a range of services to the clubs and for the overall final.
Southampton FC were the first club in the ePremier League to live stream their event, thanks to DSM’s production and content support services. DSM produced the Live Stream on Twitch and Facebook which gathered a cumulative total of 120,000+ views.
DSM also provided talent for the broadcast including FIFA casters Richard Buckley and Brandon Smith.
Speaking about DSM’s support, Head of Content Luke Nicholson said: “We were extremely proud to be the first Premier League club to live stream our ePremierLeague club playoff, and we could not have done it without the support of DSM. The range of expertise they were able to offer throughout both the planning and delivery of the broadcast ensured our stream had real credibility whilst always being focused on retaining and engaging our audience.”
DSM also partnered with Manchester United to help them build out a content plan for their event, providing crucial guidance around tournament logistics, content output, general strategy and talent, with ChuBoi becoming the official esports host of the tournament, and the commentators helping to present and cast the 90 minute show on Man Utd’s official YouTube channel
And finally, DSM worked with Newcastle United to produce a series of short form content from their tournament utilising key FIFA influencer and Newcastle fan Marshall89 and Sporf Presenter Will Brazier. DSM produced a wide range of content from the night which Newcastle United seeded out across their Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram.
Joe Bignell, Partnerships Executive said: “The guys at DSM were fantastic in providing us with several flexible options that ensured we were able to find the right one that suited our needs and resources. We’ll definitely look to utilise the fountain of knowledge and expertise that DSM command in this sector for any esports activation going forward.”
DSM also provided talent for the Tottenham Hotspur, Brighton & Hove Albion and Man City events.
The ePremier League wrapped up at the Gfinity Arena and once again DSM was there to provide the main commentators for the broadcast along with ChuBoi who was present creating content for the final for Man Utd and their finalist Kyle Leese.
