Digital Sports Mgmt has activated the Premier League Asia Trophy in China with client Avery Dennison.
Avery Dennison partnered with Chinese Artist Zhijun Wang to design a special version of the sleeve badge for the tournament giving a local cultural spin on the Premier League brand.
The badge was worn in all matches in China, along with Premier Skills Youth tournament players. The badge also was ‘Smart Technology’ enabled meaning local fans in China could scan the badge with their phones being directed to a competition to win tickets to each match.
DSM coordinated a mobile customisation lab where fans could get free sleeve badges for their club shirts, as well as special limited edition Premier League shirts which were customisable. The lab also visiting Wolves Megastore for the launch of the store in Shanghai in The Bund area. Wolves fans got free names and numbers printing plus free Asia Trophy badges with their shirt purchases.
