Role: Account Manager – Partnerships & Gaming, Digital Sports Mgmt
Digital Sports Mgmt Ltd (DSM) is a Sports Marketing, Entertainment and Gaming agency based in London. We work with a diverse range of clients from Warner Bros to Avery Dennison, Facebook to The Premier League and The FA to SoRare. We exclusively manage 40+ talent including Influencers, Pro Gamers and On-screen talent. We work with major Football stars and Rights holders, and we are at the cutting edge of the convergence of Sport, Culture, Technology, Gaming and Entertainment.
We are looking for a passionate and driven partnerships account manager to work across our football and gaming clients, including The Football Association’ You will be involved in the day-to-day planning and management of seasonal activation plans consisting of digital campaign coordination, talent management, content ideation, strategy planning and PR. Working alongside a wider account team your role as the account manager is to be the main day-to-day contact for the client, ensuring that plans are being driven forward diligently and all relevant stakeholders are communicated to regularly and effectively. You should be a strategic thinker and a natural networker, at ease building relationships and have excellent organisational and communication skills. The role is based in the UK and would be remote working with occasional travel for meetings, activations and content shoots.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Previous experience working in an Account Executive or Account Manager Role in partnerships or marketing.
Excellent Communication & Account Management Skills
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and delivering results under pressure
Ability to effectively manage a busy workload whilst remote working
Good knowledge of social media including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok and Google
Experience of running activations for brands or rights holders
Previous work in sport and/or dealing with sports rights holders preferable
Excellent PowerPoint and MS office skills
Good Understanding of EA SPORTS FIFA and FIFA Esports an advantage
ON ANY GIVEN DAY YOU MIGHT:
· Help Run Gaming Tournaments with England Men’s and Women’s players
· Attend Esports events at Wembley
· Assist in the management of a talent content shoot
· Support on planning of a gaming activations and tournament
· Attend client strategy call or meeting
· Liaise with a football organisation such as FIFA or UEFA
· Produce a campaign proposal for a client
· Liaise with our London based Directors

SUMMARY:
Title:
Account Manager – Partnerships & Gaming
1. Manage The FA eLions – Esports & Gaming Account
· Day to day management of the account liaising with The FA and all other stakeholders
· Help build the gaming and esports program delivering on key aims and targets
· Liaise with eLions players and their Teams and Agents
· Organise gaming tournaments and events, including content creation days and media days
· Liaise with Media and publishers like EA
· Work closely with DSM’s Esports manager and Head of Partnerships on strategy, as well as the Esports Manager at The FA
· Activate the program through influencer marketing, streaming programs and special initiatives
· Assist with other DSM projects as required
· Compiling reporting on all activity
2. Management of existing client accounts
· Strategic planning and implementation of partnerships to maximize rights across media, digital and social, events, experiential, branding, communications and ticketing/hospitality.
· Manage budgets and sheets
· Liaise with suppliers
3. Support in the management of DSM clients
· Assist directors with client projects as and when required
· Assist in project management liaising with clients
· Assist with activation / esports/ event deals in sports space as required from time to time.
· Arrange meetings and calls as required
· Assist Digital & Social team with activations as required
4. Develop and deliver effective marketing communications programme to build The FA’s profile in Gaming & Esports
· Develop and contribute to the FA communications plan via content ideas and social ideas
· Write social posts and briefing docs as required
The role is full time on a 12 month contract.
